Yes, its exactly what the title says. A non-stop, fourteen day ride into the "Forbideen kingdom" of Nepal. For centuries, the people of Mustang have maintained their own government inside the government of the Kings of Nepal. Keeping the trade route between the country and China safe for generations, these mountain faring people have only recently opened themselves up to modern amenities, to replace horses with MOTOR BIKES !!!!
With a trusty Royal Enfield you will set out in your journey but throughout the path you will see an array of different motorbikes, jeeps and trekkers, forging their own paths, in the rocky terrain of Mustang.
From Pokhara, as your journey begins, you will ride through the hustle of the city into the lush green forests of the region. With the rich smell of fresh air and adrenaline in your heart, you will make way to Tatopani, the natural hot spring hot spot of Nepal. Relax your muscles and prepare yourself for the real challenge, starting from day 02.
Making your way from then on to Iconic places like Kagbeni, where The Kag Chode Thupten Monastery looks upon the whole valley, gracing git with their love and wisdom. From there to Lo Manthang, the journey has you ride through the scenic mountains and rocky alps of Mustang.
Lo Manthang, the hub spot of Upper Mustang, is packed with awesome rides to ancient temples and Gumbas, where people from all around the region come to gather. Spend three days exploring these ancient parts, as it takes you into the past, where people lived not through violence, but through words and caring.
As we finish up in the region, we fix our gaze and throttle our engine towards the south, making our way into the spiritual Hub-spot of the region, The Muktinath Temple, Lord Of Liberation's Temple. A sacred point for Hindus and Buddhists, the temple offers a serene experience and majestic views of the Annapurna Mountain Ranges. As the journey starts to reach its end, we make our way to the beautiful Marpha region, the region of Apples. Enjoy bevrages and alcohol made from apples and the local cuisines made from fiery local peppers called "Timbur"
